Valeta F
Born: 5 April 2003
Sire: Almonito (by Monitor)
Dam: Veronia (by Abakan)
*Elite mare AVS Studbook
2019 WAHO Trophy winner
Valeta F was born in 2003 in Nieuwkoop, the Netherlands, bred by Adriaan Kuijf and his wife Hennie Kuijf-van der Zwet, at that time the owners of Forelock’s Arabians. She is a mare with a classic Russian / Polish pedigree and comes from a family of great broodmares. Her grand-dam Veranda was imported from Russia and covered by Abakan, also from Russia, to produce Valeta’s dam Veronia, also an *Elite mare and WAHO-Trophy winner herself. Her sire Almonito is by the Tersk-bred Monitor (Nimroz out of Matritsa) out of the Polish Janów Podlaski bred Aldara (Probat out of Arra).
Valeta is a mare with a strong deep body, strong legs and excellent movement, with a beautiful type that has earned her past successes in the show ring, which she passes on to her offspring. She is the dam of 17(!) registered foals and a foster mom to an 18th. Valeta’s offspring do very well in show, breeding and sport, in particular she has two offspring excelling in dressage, a son in tandem-driving and a daughter excelling at in-hand trail. She really passes on her willingness to work.
