The first foal of our breeding program was born on 15 June 2020, a painted colt by the young and promising Ali Khan, owned by Böhmer Horses, out of our Valeta F. We named this colt Vidar Al Sahidi, from the Old Norse Víðarr, which is possibly derived from víðr “wide” and herr “army, warrior”. In Norse mythology Víðarr is the son of Odin and Grid. At the time of the end of the world, Ragnarök, it is said he will avenge his father’s death by slaying the wolf Fenrir.
In the time that we owned Vidar we showed him seven times, of which he won Gold six times, Silver once and the title “Best in Show” twice.

In September 2021, Vidar Al Sahidi was sold within the Netherlands.
On April 7th 2022 Vidar Al Sahidi passed away after an unfortunate leg injury.
